TLTA’s Day at the Capitol is for every title professional. It's an excellent opportunity for you to speak directly with your legislators about the issues that impact our title industry and ultimately your bottom line. With the issues currently facing our industry, it’s important to show our strength in numbers and have our voices heard during the Legislative Session. By attending, you’re making a difference in the future of your business and your industry.
How Does Day at the Capitol Work?
Our biennial event kicks off at a local hotel where you’re invited to join fellow title industry peers and colleagues for an orientation, informative legislative briefing and a networking reception. The orientation and legislative briefing session will prepare you for your appointments at the Capitol. We’ll provide all the information and resources you need to talk with your elected officials and their staff before you head into their office. You’ll enjoy breakfast while listening to a special guest speaker, then you'll head over to the Capitol for appointments with your local legislators. TLTA will schedule your legislative visits prior to the meeting.
